Housing is one of the three foundational pillars of the Holly City Development Corporation. Since 2013, HCDC has provided nearly $80,000 in housing rehabilitation grants to residents of Millville. An additional $138,000 has been provided for the demolition of abandoned properties. We have also invested over $65,000 in the acquisition of housing and lots.

 

We continue to work with the City of Millville to improve code enforcement efforts throughout the city. There are currently plans in the works to create more affordable housing rehabilitation and development opportunities. Housing counseling and homeownership education programs are planned for the near future. We are working toward developing partnerships with banks and other lending institutions to generate more interest in the housing market.
