Featured Center City Business: L.A. Nails & Spa

I've walked the length of High Street many times since returning to Millville 3 years ago. I've seen the sign for LA Nails, but the first time I entered the building was a few weeks ago to photograph the co-owner, Lynn, for this article. What an impressive facility & the amount of business they do is amazing.

L.A. Nails has been family-owned for almost 30 years. Owners Lynn Do Phan and her husband, Phillip Bui Hung, came to Millville to work for a friend’s salon in 2000. “That is when we fell in love with this city,” Lynn says. When the owner decided to retire, he sold to his friends, Lynn and Philip.

They spent time perfecting their skills, renovating the space, and building a loyal clientele. As the business grew, they decided to buy the adjacent building to expand, transforming it into today’s luxury salon.

Their most popular services include nail extensions, full body waxing, and luxury spa pedicures with upgrades like collagen and jelly soaks. They also offer manicures, pedicures, facial waxing, eyelashes, and are known for their beautiful nail designs.

Their customers appreciate the clean, friendly atmosphere and quality of work. A commitment to service and workmanship has not only helped them grow their business, but it has also led to a Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce Pride in Millville Award in 2024.

The award recognized the many obstacles Lynn and Phillip faced on their journey from Vietnam to where they are today. “We have many customers we’ve been servicing over 20 years. They love it here and we do, too. We truly enjoy being a part of the community’s growth,” she says.
